Dan Sherrington

Dan Sherrington has been a mainstay of the Brighton music scene for many years and has played with a vast array of musicians eager to have the Sherrington 'magic' grace their music.

His first major gig was with a Rolling Stones covers band 'The Railing Staines' with whom Dan played at a variety of venues throughout the country including the prestigious Brixton Academy and the Brighton Centre. It was through playing these gigs that Dan first met fellow band member Sam Flynn.

Dan first perfomred alongside Mark Wright in his 'Band of Plenty' towards the end of 1999 and has been an essential component of Mark's music ever since.

He has also toured extensively with the likes of Nashville soul singer Charles Walker in 2003 on the "Number by Heart" Tour, and R&B vocalist Lou Pride from Chicago in 2004 on the "Words of Caution" Tour. performing all across Europe. Dan's latest project was in 2005 with British 60s R&B outfit Philip Goodhand-Tait and the Stormsville Shakers, on their 40-year reunion album "Ricky-Tick - 40 years on."
